In the Kitchen at White Oaks is part recipe, part history book. It celebrates the 25th anniversary of the White Oaks bequest by Homozel Mickel Daniel and its designation as the Furman University Presidents Home. The cookbook includes a collection of recipes from several former first ladies, First Gentleman Charles Davis, and recipes from Mrs. Daniel that were found in a chest of drawers in the library.
Furman Magazine is published in print and online twice a year and delves into the stories and happenings within Furman University and its community, covering a wide range of rich topics, including campus news, alumni updates, features and profiles. As creative director for the magazine I put each print and digital issue through the paces so our subscribers can engage in vibrant visual content. Each issue is aimed at a diverse audience, including alumni, students, staff, and the broader community. It's a vibrant source of information and a platform for sharing the university's accomplishments, initiatives, and the stories of its people.
Cutting through the clutter and impressing upon prospective students is essential for Furman's enrollment. Through fresh, authentic and vibrant branding initiatives translating across print and digital channels, students and parents are delivered relevant messaging expounding on what Furman has to offer to every student.
The 2019 President’s Report, “Reflecting on Our Calling,” provides an in-depth look into the university’s admissions, athletics, diversity and inclusion efforts, community impact, and development initiatives, underscoring The Furman Advantage approach to education.

Every year Furman University invites alumni and friends to "Come Home" and experience the nostalgia of returning to Furman's beautiful campus for Homecoming Weekend. The print and social campaign kicks off with mailing the Save the Date, encouraging website registration and t-shirt and commemorative poster sales.
Each year The Shi Center for Sustainability publishes an annual report sharing its programs and successes with the Furman and Greenville communities. The yearly report highlights the extraordinary work of both the Shi Center Student Fellows and Faculty Affiliates, as well as many other exciting opportunities supported by the Center.
A Century of Better Care. 100 Years of Piedmont Hospital was created working closely with Piedmont Hospital’s archive department. This 116-page historical retrospective chronicles Piedmont’s rich history featuring biographical briefs, vintage photography and preserved found objects.
The book kicked-off a year of centennial events celebrating Piedmont’s contribution to the medical industry.
The Partners Program initiative by Furman Office of Development directly unites students with donors, giving donors the opportunity to see the direct and immediate impact of their investment through student relationships. The Partners Programs is one of many that shape The Furman Advantage, which is the opportunity each Furman students has to realize his or her unique and individualized pathway through schooling and beyond.
While staying true to Furman's overarching brand, the Partners Program system is purposeful in feeling current, yet established and accessible, functioning to be being easily identified as its own programing.
